Eagle Cove RV Park is a beautiful campground located close to the Hiwassee River and the Ocoee River, offering a variety of activities such as rafting, hiking, and swimming. WiFi is available, but you have to go up to the bathrooms to connect. There is a lot of potential for this park, but it needs some work and a good cleanup. The owner has put his heart into making this a great destination, but there is still some neglect, such as the pool not having a filter pump running, and the fire rings being too high to enjoy a campfire. The park is also known to have a lot of cigarette butts and other trash around, as well as dead bugs in the bathrooms and broken picnic tables. Despite these issues, the campground is still a great place to stay, with lots of activities nearby and incredible views.

Black Bear Resort in Hampton, East Tennessee is the perfect home base for your section hike. Our location makes for some of the most scenic hiking on the Appalachian Trail A/T. We offer a variety of accommodations and provide affordable shuttle services to many trail destinations and short term or long term parking. You can make us your starting point or better yet shuttle out to a starting point and hike back to us. Call for our shuttle rates and drop off points. Black Bear Resort is an Appalachian Trail Passport Stamp Location.
