Piney River Resort in Dickson, TN, offers beautiful bathrooms and a nice and big rig-friendly site. The area is remote, taking about 20-30 minutes to get to the nearest services for gas and groceries. The road going in on either 46 or 48 is very winding and hilly. The last 2-3 miles is very bumpy, gravel, and potholes all over, so driving slow is advised. Its not horrible, but its not smooth. The people are nice, and communication is excellent. Experts suggest following the campgrounds directions to avoid driving on a road not meant for RVs. The regular sites are expensive for what you get, but the premium sites offer good creek views. The internet can be sketchy, but some guests bring their own WiFi for better coverage.
