Bumpus Mills Campground is a small 15 site Corps of Engineer Park located in the Land Between the Lakes area. The sites offer water and electric hookups, hot showers, dump station, boat launch and public marina. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing and swimming as well as an abundance of wildlife. The roads to the campground are narrow and tree-lined, so it is best for rigs up to 30 feet. Cell phone service is limited and there is no broadcast TV. The campground is well-maintained and the host is professional, informative and hospitable. The sites are level and flat with a view of the lake, though some require leveling. There is a walking trail to the swimming area. This is a great place for kayakers, boaters or couples looking to get away.
