Piney Campground is a beautiful and scenic campground located right on Kentucky Lake. It offers a variety of activities such as swimming, fishing, boating, and hiking. The park does have 50amp service, 1 power socket that is wired to a separate breaker box about 10 feet away. Big rigs may have to parallel park along the hookups since the 50amp is located toward the center of an end to end parking area. The staff is friendly and the hookups are in decent shape. There is a really good restaurant next door, but you must have cash as they dont accept credit cards. There is also interesting Civil War history nearby at Ft Donnelson and the Land Between the Lakes area is always great fun to explore. The daughter bought it from Mom 3 years ago and re-named it for some reason. The longest pull through is about 55 ft. and there is a family restaurant within walking distance.
