Piney Campground is a large campground located at the south end of the Land Between the Lakes Region. It offers nearly 400 sites, with only ten having full hookups and 50 amp service. The sites are mostly large and level with stones, and much of the campground is in the trees, providing plenty of shade. There are also plenty of activities available within LBL itself, such as the Bison Prairie, the Old Homeplace, Fort Donnelson battlefield, a Nature Station and a Planetarium. The park is pet and child friendly, and the staff are friendly and willing to help. Satellite TV will depend on site and equipment as area is heavily wooded. Rates are $12 no hookups, $18 electric only and $32 for 50 amp, water & sewer.
