Watauga Dam Campground in Elizabethton, TN is a beautiful TVA campground group. The check-in process was quick and easy. The camp host team was very helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The campsites all offer a view of the river, and the park is located in a scenic cove. The kayaking and fishing opportunities were great. Additionally, the AT trail is nearby and the autumn trees were beautiful. The campground is well maintained and clean, with immaculate bathrooms that are cleaned several times a day. The hosts are attentive and even offered to collect our trash. The city of Elizabethton is close by and has everything you might need. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our brief stay at this lovely campground.
