What others are saying about this campground
Heritage Campground is a small Amish community located in a rural area. The campground is in need of much work and has a lot of potential, but is sadly lacking in the completion of projects started. The spots are very narrow, with young trees planted in the strip of dirt between sites, making it difficult to pull up far enough to hook up to the sewer and have the slide room out. The road in the park is littered with pot holes and giant trenches, and the power is unreliable, with constantly fluctuating low voltage. The host is friendly, but the showers and toilets are not clean, and the laundry room is dusty and hot with a filthy floor. The price charged per night is not worth it. Plan on taking a buggy ride to tour the place.

From The Campground
Heritage Campground and RV Park is a quiet, year-round campground located in the heart of Amish country in southern middle Tennessee. The campground borders Tennessee's oldest Amish farm, now the Amish Heritage Farm Museum, providing enchanting views of the farm, horses, and spectacular sunsets. The campground offers a peaceful and slow-paced life of Amish country, with amenities such as a large, clean shower house, laundry machines, free WiFi, and a large wrap-around porch with several porch swings, wooden gliders, and a picnic table. The campground is located near several antique shops, the Amish Country Flea Market, and the Amish Market. Nearby stores include Rick's BBQ/gas station, Marshall's Deli/Marathon gas station, and Dollar General. The campground is only five miles north of Lawrenceburg, which has a Wal-Mart, Kroger, Save A Lot, Tractor Supply Company, CVS, Walgreen's, several banks, many fast food places and restaurants, emergency walk-in clinics, and a hospital.
