Pigeon River Campground in Hartford, TN is a nice stop off of I-40, albeit a bit noisy with the interstate running nearby. The campground is well-maintained. The sites are sloped due to the natural grade of the land and so camping vehicles will need to disconnect to level off. In some cases, an extension cable or additional sewer hose may be necessary. The Pigeon River is nearby and convenient for outdoor activities. The campground has individual bathrooms which were assigned to each camper and are kept clean throughout the duration of their stay. Its worth noting that check-in isnt allowed before 3 pm. If youre passing through, this is a solid option.
