This campground is a great spot for a lakeside getaway. Located near town, you can easily find supplies or grab a bite to eat. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful, and the camp store has all the necessary supplies. The tent sites are right on the water and have a great view. The campground has a swimming area, boat launch, walking trails, playground, and kayak rentals. The sites are large, gravel, and have plenty of grassy space between them. Each site has its own fire ring, cooking grate, charcoal grill, and huge concrete picnic table. The bath house is immaculate and handicap accessible. There is no wifi, but cell service is good. The campground is seasonal and closes in November, usually opening in March. Golden Age and Golden Access passes are honored for 50% off the base camping rate.
