This RV campground has mostly long term trailers and permanent campers on site. The condition of the park is in need of improvement and there is a lot of trash and broken down vehicles. The facilities are in need of updating and the bathrooms are moldy. The park is clean, quiet and safe, but a bit expensive. It has a pool, store, laundry, showers and restrooms and power is available. The owners do not take reservations, but try to keep 10 sites open for overnighters. The neighboring trailers are close together, and the roads are not well marked with many trees presenting a challenge. The owner was unhelpful when there was an issue with the site.

They offer daily, weekly, and extended rates for RV camping on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, they do not offer tent camping or reservations. Shady Acres RV Park is convenient to downtown Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Watertown.
