Fuller State Park is a beautiful campground located just 5 miles from Graceland and 15 minutes from downtown Memphis. It features 1,138 acres of recreational activities such as hiking, swimming, tennis, basketball, and ranger-led programs. The park roads are paved and wide enough to accommodate any size RV. Sites are paved with gravel patios and include electric (30 and 50 amp) and water hookups, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and fire pits. There are a mix of pull-thrus and back-in sites of varying lengths, some of which can be reserved online for up to 14 days. The campground is well-maintained and has a clean bathhouse with a free ice machine. However, the park is located in a rough part of town and there is a sewage treatment plant nearby, which can cause an unpleasant smell depending on the wind. Additionally, there are a lot of trees down in the park due to storm damage. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is a great place for a quick and easy getaway with access to all that Memphis has to offer.
