This campground is a great RV park located in the middle of the Smokey Mountains, about 9 miles off I-81. The sites are terraced, with a long step down from the camper to the ground. There is a swimming pool and picnic shelter, as well as riverfront sites. The roads are not paved, but are easy to maneuver. The campground was flooded in February 2020 and the cleanup is not yet completed, with several decks and piles of trash still in place. Unfortunately, there are no signs showing how to get there from exit 15. The only downside is that cell phone service, other than Verizon, is not available. Despite this, it is a peaceful and wonderful place to stay.
