This campground is located close to Banner Elk and Boone, NC, and is a great place to stay while passing through. It offers 6 sites with full hook-ups, but the sites are quite narrow and short. The road is in poor condition and is not suitable for pull-throughs, with sharp turns and wash-out holes from water running down the hill. The owners, Dennis and Rita, are very friendly and accommodating. The campground has water, electric (30 amp), cable, and sewer, but the cable lines are damaged in some areas. There are no bathrooms or showers, but there are big block fire pits for campfires. This campground is best suited for tent camping.
