Alpine Hideaway Campground is a small and cozy campground on the edge of Pigeon Forge, nestled between two steep embankments and located close to many attractions. Although spaces are close, the back-in and pull-through sites are clean and well-maintained. The campground also offers cabins for those who prefer not to camp. There are a substantial number of seasonal RV sites, with some children and pets in the area. The pool is nice and well-maintained, though there is no hot tub. The bathhouse, laundry, and property all are well-maintained. The campground is great for exploring the Smoky Mountains as it is only a few miles away from Pigeon Forge, around seven miles from Gatlinburg, and about 10 miles from Wears Valley. If youre not sure how to get to Alpine Hideaway Campground, be sure to ask for directions, as one way has you go through a park, which can be confusing.
