Although spaces are close, the back-in and pull-through sites are clean and well-maintained. The campground also offers cabins for those who prefer not to camp. The campground is great for exploring the Smoky Mountains as it is only a few miles away from Pigeon Forge, around seven miles from Gatlinburg, and about 10 miles from Wears Valley. If youre not sure how to get to Alpine Hideaway Campground, be sure to ask for directions, as one way has you go through a park, which can be confusing.
