What others are saying about this campground
Norris Dam State Park is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a variety of activities. The park offers a wide range of activities such as fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, and bird watching. The park is also home to a museum, the Lenior Cultural Center, which provides a glimpse into the history of the area. The campground is divided into two sections, the East and West, with sites that range from primitive to full hookup. The East Campground is smaller and the sites are close together, but there are power lines running through it and the wildlife is more apparent. The West Campground is larger, with a playground and showerhouse in the middle. The sites are small, so larger rigs should book the West Campground. There are also plenty of hiking trails and the Clinch River Brewing Co is very close. The restrooms are outdated, but the park is a great place for stargazing.
