Douglas Headwater Campground is a gorgeous, well-maintained campground with big sites and beautiful views of the lake. The hosts are extremely nice and strive to keep the grounds tidy and clean. The campground is more open and airy than other campgrounds in the area. The campground is very clean and well-maintained. There are ample parking and private sites. The beach and swimming area are great for relaxing but sometimes need to be cleaned up after inconsiderate visitors. The restroom and shower facilities could use more attention and updating. The power may trip from time to time, but otherwise, the campground is very peaceful and a great place to stay.
