What others are saying about this campground
Edgar Evans State Park is a beautiful campground situated on the shores of Center Hill Lake. The campground features unusual wooden platforms, supported by concrete and metal poles, that extend from the steep sloping hillside. The platforms are great for tenting and some travel trailers, but are not big rig friendly. The roads can be narrow and tricky, but the scenery is outstanding. The sites are well-signed and sturdy, and the fire rings are located outside of the wooden platforms near the drive. The bathhouse is clean and well-maintained, and there are several trails in the park for hiking. There is also a marina with a restaurant, fly fishing supplies, and a boat ramp. Cell phone reception is good, but Wifi and TV reception is limited. The park is open year round and is patrolled by state park rangers and law enforcement.
