This campground is a great option for those looking for a peaceful and affordable getaway. The sites are large, well-spaced, and mostly gravel, and generally level. The owners have opened a small general store with food service on site, offering a nice selection of items including homemade biscuits. Some of the sites now have free cable TV connections, and they honor the PA rate for 7 days with no other restrictions. The store and deli are clean and well-stocked, and the owner is prompt when it comes time to pay the rent. Currently, they are adding a camp store with basic groceries, fishing bait and a snack bar. Unfortunately, the campground is not kid-friendly, as it is extremely muddy and there are no fire rings or picnic tables. They also advertise cable and wifi, but there is no wifi and the cable is all ads for local radio stations. Be sure to keep your receipt to avoid being charged twice for rent.
