Mecca Camp Resort is a great small campground in Tellico Plains, TN. They have a pool that is perfect for hot summer days, in addition to spacious and clean bathhouses with great water pressure. The staff and owners are friendly, and there is a small playground for children to play and a decent store that sells snacks, drinks, and ice cream. There are fun things to do in Tellico, with Athens, Etowah, Madisonville, and various mountains attractions nearby. Cleveland is also just a 45 min drive away. However, if you choose a back-in spot, there isnt much shade in the afternoon/evening. Therefore, it is recommended that you pay a bit more and opt for a pull-through spot. The campground doesnt have a sewer hookup, but they come by twice a week to dump your tanks for you. You must be cautious with your water usage to avoid filling up your tanks before the next dump day. In addition, the WiFi signal is weak the farther away you are from the office. Its almost useless in spot 6, which is halfway into the park. If you require WiFi, either ask for a spot close to the office or use your own. They dont have a laundry facility on-site, but Taras Laundry in Tellico is nearby. Its a decent laundromat, but it gets pricey if you have small children who soil their clothes easily. Nonetheless, we loved our stay and would recommend it, especially if youre looking for a discounted monthly stay. Either way, make sure you check out Tellico Bakery, and dont miss an opportunity to drive the Skyway to the Indian Boundary. While its not secluded, and youre beside a busy highway with noisy traffic, its still an excellent, peaceful campground for RVers.

Mecca Camp Resort is a new boutique campground in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. It is only a short drive to the Cherohala Skyway & Cherokee National Forrest which has some of the best trout fishing, scenic byways, huge waterfalls, awesome kayaking, and challenging hiking! Mecca Camp Resort is the perfect place to call home while visiting the area. We offer top-quality service to all of our campers and guests that will set us apart from any other campground. We have 29 long RV sites open to both pull-thru and back-in, as well as our Glamping Tents, Hammock Camping Pods, Large Family Pool, Bathhouse, and Camp Store.
