Fooshee Campground is a great place to enjoy a peaceful and quiet getaway. Located on Watts Bar Lake, the campground offers a variety of sites, from grassy and shaded lakeside sites to more secluded spots in the back circle of the park. All sites are level and come with tables and fire rings. 30 amp hook electrical hookups are available, and the water spigot is a little low to the ground, so you might want a hose as well. The bathrooms and showers have hot water, and the bath houses need updating but are still pretty clean. The park is well managed and maintained by the friendly camp hosts and park manager, Royce, and the boat launch is free and convenient to use. The views of the lake are absolutely stunning, and you can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and kayaking right from your site. Wildlife is abundant, and there is a swimming area in the day use area. Dont forget to reserve your slow cooked Prime Rib dinner ahead of time at Uncle Gus Mountain Pit BBQ less than 10 minutes away!
