Big Meadow Family Campground is a nice family campground located in Townsend, TN. The staff is polite and helpful. The campground is large and the campsites are averagely sized, some larger than others. The interior roads are gravel, wide and easy to navigate. There are some trees, but most sites dont have a lot of shade. The park and all of its facilities are clean and well-maintained. Sites are a little close together. The concrete pad at the sites does not typically require any leveling and there are no problems with utilities. Two great dog parks ensure your furry friends will have fun too. The park also includes many amenities, including fresh hot pizza and chicken wings at the camp store, groceries, fuel, and restaurants nearby. This park is a good location to explore the area and all it has to offer.
