The sites are fairly level and well shaded. The campground is well maintained and the sites are spacious. The campground offers beautiful sites with close by eatery’s with good food and entertainment. The 4th of July offers a really great firework display that is free to attend. There is a marked 2.8 mile trail right off the main loop road and a sand volleyball court. The bath house is clean and there is a dump station and free, but spotty wifi at sites. The sites are generally very level compressed gravel and have a fire ring/grill and picnic table. There are also lots of shady spots with views of Tims Ford Lake and some sites have direct water access with a canopy of shade trees.

Tims Ford State Park is a 3,546-acre park located on the Tims Ford Reservoir in south-central Tennessee. The park offers RV, tent, and backcountry campsites, as well as cabins for rent. Tims Ford Lake is one of the most picturesque lakes in Tennessee and is known for its bass fishing and recreational opportunities. The park also features a golf course, hiking trails, paddling, and more.
