Ridgeview RV Resort in Abilene, TX boasts paved roads and crushed granite sites. Each site includes an artificial lawn area for your rig. The entrance area is attractive and the laundry facilities are nice; there are also three individual bathhouses for the convenience of campers. Check-in is easy with personalized envelopes available. The pool area is well-maintained and includes a fire pit. Although there is some road noise from I-20, the park sits on a high ridge providing beautiful west Texas sunsets. Some sites are undeveloped and it can be challenging to find level ground. Staff are minimal but great. The resorts downside is that the office does not handle mail for renters and it can be challenging to get in touch with someone on the phone. The office does accept packages, but they are all placed in a communal box. showers and bathrooms are clean and modern but there are only 4 bath stalls for a large facility.
