The park is clean and quiet and the sites are level. It is a gravel lot with full hook ups, and we were able to choose our spot. They go on the honor system, so we put our $25 in the pay box at the office. For a basic gravel site with hook ups and nothing else, this one of the best parks we came across. About 100 yds from our site was a beautiful white stallion who was later joined by his friends. The hostess was an older lady with no teeth but she was very accommodating. Nothing fancy but decent view, easy in and out, and full hookups. Absolutely loved the little park, felt safe, full hookups, and Mrs. Donna is a wonderfully sweet lady! There were a couple of bunnies, some wild horses, and a beautiful sunset that took its time setting! Longhorn RV Park is a great no-frills campground located 65 miles east of Amarillo, TX. It is conveniently located off the highway and is perfect for an overnight stop. The park offers full hookups, a small fenced dog area, a large field to walk your pups, and a beautiful view of a white stallion and his friends. The hostess is an older lady with no teeth who is very accommodating and friendly. Payment is made on the honor system and must be cash or check. It is a gravel lot with full hookups, and you are able to choose your spot. For a basic gravel site with hookups and nothing else, this is one of the best parks around.
