This campground is a great option for those looking for a no-frills RV experience. Located on a working ranch in west Texas, it offers incredible views of the Chihuahuan desert and starry night skies. The gravel sites are large and level, with trees and hookups conveniently placed. Electric and water are good, WiFi is not bad, Verizon is useful, and cable is included in the price. Management is friendly and helpful, and the camp hosts are very nice. The speed limit is strictly enforced, but there are three friendly cats to greet you when you arrive. The foliage needs work, but showers have lots of hot water and laundry facilities are available. This is a great place to stay when coming out of Big Bend NP or Davis Mtns SP, or when visiting Alpine.
