Ransom Road RV Park in Aransas Pass, TX is a well-maintained and easy-to-access park. The laundry room and showers are clean, and theres a coded mailroom for packages. The Captains Den (also known as the Rec Room) is a great space with a wonderful kitchen setup, restroom, library, games, puzzles, and pool table. The pull-through buddy sites are convenient but it would be better if the doors of the sites faced one another. Water pressure is so-so and theres no cable. The WiFi is decent for reading emails and downloading books to a Kindle. Its a nice and relaxing campground, with lots to do if you bring your own entertainment like satellite TV. The guys have pool tournaments daily from 2p-4p while the ladies play cards and games. Despite a small incident, we would return here again. The only downside is that the campground can be crowded with permanent residents. Its a good overnight spot, but not much more.

Ransom Road RV Park is a clean and quiet park located along the beautiful Gulf Coast. The park offers 128 level grassy sites with picnic tables, 24 of which are pull-thrus. Guests can enjoy world-class fishing, bird-watching, and bay dolphins, all within 2 blocks of the park. The park is pet-friendly and has a Captain's Den with a pool table, games, movies, books, and more. Ransom Road RV Park is your gateway to great fishing with public boat launches just two blocks away and a short ferry ride to Port Aransas and the Padre Island National Seashore on North Padre Island.
