Pilot Knoll Park is a small, well-maintained campground located on the shore of Lake Lewisville in Highland Village, TX. It has a national park feel to it, with tall trees, spacious sites, and beautiful views of the lake and wildlife. The sites are gravel and have 50 amp plugs, city water, fire pits, grills, and picnic tables. Unfortunately, there are no sewer connections, but there is a dump station and a portable wastewater tank is available for purchase. The park has a peaceful atmosphere and is great for kayaking, fishing, and boating. It is also conveniently located near Swisher Rd and 407, and reservations can be made through the City of Highland Village website. The park is also discounted for seniors and retired military with service related disability compensation. While the park is great for a peaceful getaway, there is some airplane noise from DFW airport and some sites may not be suitable for larger RVs. There is also some debris and cigarette butts around the sites.

Pilot Knoll Park is a beautiful park bordering Lake Lewisville in Highland Village. This park is 65 to 85 acres (depending on the water level) and is perfect for nature lovers, campers, hikers, horseback riders, and anyone who likes spending time outdoors. The park has a day use area, overnight camping in an improved camp area as well as primitive camping.
