Located in Athens, TX, Texan RV Park is a well-maintained campground that offers beautiful views of the pond. The site offers many amenities like a dog park, laundry, beautiful showers, and license-free fishing opportunities. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and we have enjoyed socializing with fellow NRVTA students on the property. The entry to the park is a bit steep and has caused damage to some RVs in the past, so it is recommended to take caution when entering the park. However, once on the property, the staff is very welcoming and quickly verify your reservation without any issues. We stayed for a week-long RV Fundamentals Course and found the location ideal. The park is fully gravel and sloped; our front levelers had to be extended because of the slope. Utilities were in good shape and worked well throughout our stay. If you are looking for a nice camping experience in Athens, TX, we would highly recommend Texan RV Park!

Texan RV Park & Campus is a welcoming RV park located in Athens, Texas. The park offers RV sites, cabins, and tiny home cottages for rent. They have a large Bark Park for dog owners and offer workamping opportunities. The park is conveniently located near Purtis Creek State Park, Athens Farmer's Market, Tara Vineyard & Winery, Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, Canton First Monday Trade Days, East Texas Arboretum and Botanical Society, Athens Scuba Park, Cedar Creek Brewery, and New York Texas Zipline Adventures. The park offers a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.
