Basin RV Resort in Belton is a 20-acre campground nestled between the gently rolling hills of Central Texas. The resort offers 139 sites with full hookups, 50/30 amps, and Spectrum Internet & Cable. The amenities include a pool, hot tub, and playground. The campground is conveniently located just 2.5 miles from I-14 and 4 miles from 1-35, making it easily accessible from Belton, Harker Heights, Killeen, Fort Hood, Temple, and Salado. The resort is centrally located, and within minutes, visitors can visit Fort Hood's 1st Cavalry Division Museum, The Vineyard at Florence, The Mayborn Planetarium and Space Theatre, the Bell County Expo Center, and the quaint town of Salado. The campground is also close to outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, boating, and picnicking at Stillhouse Hollow Lake, hiking, biking, or horseback riding at Dana Peak Park, and rambling beside the Lampasas River at Chalk Ridge Falls State Park.
