This campground is located near I-35 and is primarily used by workers in the area. It is not a KOA park anymore, but still features an iconic A frame building with the office, bathrooms, laundry, and some additional space currently being renovated. The sites are narrow, but fairly level and close to each other. Wifi has a good signal but terrible bandwidth and only satellite TV is allowed. The staff is friendly and continuously busy with maintenance. There is limited space to BBQ and keep the smoke from annoying your neighbor. The price includes a Good Sam discount, but not Wi-Fi, which is an additional $5 a day. There are cats in the area that may be a nuisance. This campground might be a good option for an overnight stay, but not for an extended period.

Belton RV Park is a conveniently located RV park in Belton, Texas, right next door to the Bell County Expo Center. The park offers daily, weekly, and long-term reservations for shady, pull-through spaces. Amenities include an in-ground pool, Wi-Fi, a fenced dog park, on-site laundry, on-site showers/restrooms, an on-site rec room, an exercise room, a shared patio with grill, and LP Gas. The park is unable to accommodate tents and tent campers. Nearby attractions include Fort Hood, Temple, Killeen, and the antique shops located in Historic Belton and Salado.
