What others are saying about this campground
Blanco State Park, located in the heart of Blanco, is a small but well-maintained state park on both sides of the Blanco River. Although there is some noise from nearby highways during the day, it is quiet at night. The park boasts two dammed sections of the river with plenty of shady trees lining the banks, making it perfect for a refreshing swim during hot days. Some sites even have full hookups. The park is conveniently located close to town where you can find local restaurants, a brewery, grocery stores, and gas stations. Its also just a short drive from Buccees in New Braunfels, wine country in Fredericksburg, and both LBJ National and State Parks in Johnson City. Additionally, the park honors the Texas State Park Pass, which allows free entry to all other Texas State Parks for hiking or other activities. The park is great for families with children as they can enjoy the walking paths, swings, and fishing. Overall, Blanco State Park is a peaceful and beautiful destination for RV campers of all ages.
