Cascade Caverns is a beautiful, quiet park in Boerne, Texas that features a stunning cavern filled with amazing formations, cave salamanders and bats. The friendly staff offer enjoyable and knowledgeable tours of the cave. The park is surrounded by abundant trees, has several walking trails and even a T Rex for fun photo-ops. The site is peaceful and relaxing and has a great rock shop in the souvenir store. The park also has full hookups available and its only a short drive away from San Antonio and Fredericksburg. The lots are not huge but are adequate with good services, and some are more natural with less structured layouts. The park also has a lot of history and information to discover, making it a great place to return to and spend a few days. Some permanent residents also call the park home.
