The roads are wide, making it easy to access and depart from a pull-through site, even for a 42 fifth wheel. The staff is friendly, and there are nice restrooms, a decent laundry room, and a little store on-site. The park features a mossy lake with ducks and a 3/4 mile trail around it with a small exercise station. There is also a HUGE fenced dog run yard, a nice childrens playground, and a pool & hot tub. The only issue reported is the spotty internet connection, which may be typical of most RV parks. Overall, Houston West RV Park is a great stopover location with good amenities for travelers, particularly for those with pets looking for a place to play and stretch their legs.
