This campground is located close to Texas A & M University and the Presidential Library of George H. Bush, making it a great destination for visitors. It offers discounts for Good Sam and Passport America, so visitors can stay for just $16 per night. The sites are close together, have 30 & 50 amps, pets are welcome, cable TV, wireless internet, and a swimming pool. The internet works great, not the typical slow RV park variety. The pull thourghs are sloped so badly that you need blocks under one end of motorhome to get level. The male manager is very rude, and the neighborhood is not one that you want to be in after dark, unless you like Boom Boxes at 1AM. There are large garbage barrels at the end of most sites, and food scraps scattered about. Utilities are not well aligned, so visitors need to move forward in the morning to dump. There is no sign for the office, so visitors may need to take a tour of the park to find it. There is no shade, and the site near the entrance may be noisy due to traffic going in/out during morning and evening hours.
