Poppys Pointe is a family-friendly campground located close to Pflugerville, Texas. The park staff is friendly and helpful, and they will guide each client to their spot. The park offers boat and aqua bike rentals, and there are plenty of other activities to keep the kids occupied. The views from the back of the sites are great, even with the low water levels. The pool is clean and enjoyable, and there is plenty of wildlife to observe. Unfortunately, the park is a bit run down and there is a lot of trash and stickers around. The waterfront sites are not very appealing, and the lake is currently low so the water is not as close as it once was. This is not the best park for picky campers, but it is a good location for those who are new to RVing and want to be close to home.
