This RV park is conveniently located near Cabelas, Wal-Mart, and several restaurants, and is only a short drive from downtown Austin and the University of Texas campus. Despite its convenient location, the campground is in need of repair, with narrow roads in poor condition, a severe speed bump at the back row entrance, and bathrooms covered in spider webs and splattered with human waste. There are no amenities besides an RV parts shop, but there is a friendly and helpful service team on-site. The sites are narrow and closely spaced, but have full length concrete pads, and the campground is kept clean and mowed. Long-term RVers and lack of reservations means the chances of getting a spot are slim.
