Canton Marketplace is the perfect spot for visitors looking to take advantage of the world-famous First Monday Trade Days. The campground offers sites 29-34 for parallel parking, with water and electricity included. The campers are placed on every available spot for the trade days held each month. There is also a shuttle bus to take guests to the trade days area. The campground is located about 1/2 mile south of I-20, north of Canton 1st Monday Trade Days grounds. The manager is not on site and rarely answers the phone, but the woman in the office is very nice. While the womens restroom is full of big, black, dead beetles, the campground is a great spot to research the area if you are planning a return visit. The campground is close to the next site, and visitors can enjoy the convenience of just leaving their RV and walking over to shop, just a few feet from the site. The City of Canton should consider spending a bit of money cleaning out the creek for visitors viewing.
