What others are saying about this campground
Fire-ring and grill are provided. Dump station is close by and easy to access. This is a smaller Corps of Engineers campground with approximately 30 RV sites. It is situated on the south shore of Canyon Lake and all sites have concrete pads, hooded picnic tables, grills, and fire rings. Most sites are back-in and 40+ feet long with a slight slope up to 3-4 inches, depending on the length of your rig. The park has a peaceful atmosphere and is surrounded by beautiful oak groves. There are plenty of activities nearby such as wineries, breweries, and the Bracken Cave which is home to 20 million bats during the summer months. There are also several restaurants and bars in the area. The campground offers a daily special with two sides, iced tea and two Shinerbocks for $23.00. The sites are level and have extra parking spots for vehicles or boats. There is water and electric (50 and 30 amp) only, but there is a nearby dump station. The park also offers a loop for tent camping with dozens of beautiful sites. There is limited OTA channels and clear sky for satellite reception.
