The RV Park is an adequate overnight stop or base for exploration of Palo Duro State Park. It is convenient to Canyon TX and offers level, pull through sites with full hook-ups, including 50 amp service. There is traffic noise from the nearby interstate, but it is not too disruptive. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the park is run down and there are few trees. There is no cable TV provided, but there is a laundry room and slow internet connection. The number and quality of permanent RVs detract from the appeal. The park has a small outdoor area with porch swing, horseshoes, and other games, along with a large firepit. Visitors can take advantage of the $5 off Internet special when checking in, as well as the Good Sam Discount.

Palo Duro RV Park is a family-friendly campground that offers accommodations for all types of rigs, from teardrops to 5th wheels, Class A to Class C. The park has recently remodeled its restroom and shower building, which is open for guests' convenience. All overnight sites are pull-thrus with full hook-ups, and extended stay sites offer larger, more homelike areas to reside. The park is currently taking reservations for Summer 2023 and all future dates. Palo Duro RV Park is committed to guests' safety and sanitizes and cleans multiple times per day.
