Cedar Hill in Cedar Hill, TX is a state park with a lot of activities. Although some of the trails and areas of campsites were closed during our visit, the park is making major improvements. We especially enjoyed the new beach-like atmosphere and sunset views. Our full-hookup site had an asphalt pad, and the utilities worked well. The large RV camping sites were very spacious and our site had ample room between neighbors. While the view of the lake was partially blocked by trees, we appreciated the spacious and separate areas for the fire pit and picnic table. We recommend bringing plenty of leveling blocks. Although some of the roads around the park need repairs and some areas needed mowing, we found the park to be a nice state park with friendly employees. We would happily stay there again!
