Wi-Fi and rental motors and boats are available at the office. The owners live on-site, are very friendly, and go out of their way to ensure everyone has a great camping visit. The camping rate reflects Passport America discount, and seven days or more is $18. However, the sites are very crowded, and there is lots of dust due to the dirt sites. Additionally, there are millions of flies due to the close proximity of horses and their by-products. The swimming pool is indoor and seemed clean, but the dressing rooms for the swimming pool were fair. Visitors who prefer spacious sites and dislike dirt and flies may not enjoy camping at Glens Cove.

Cedar Hill State Park is located 20 miles from downtown Dallas and 30 miles from downtown Fort Worth. The park offers a variety of activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and swimming. The Metroplex area also offers sports, museums, music, restaurants, an amusement park, gardens, and much more. The park has campsites available for overnight stays and day use areas for picnics and other activities.
