Holiday RV Park in College Station, TX is a great park for those who enjoy being self-contained, as the park does not have facilities. Booking a reservation proved to be a challenge, with unanswered phone calls, but emailing proved to garner a quick response. Upon arrival, the campground seemed clean and nice, though mostly occupied with long-term stays. The sites were well-kept, but close together, with space ranging from 6 to 8 feet between RVs. Noise was an issue, with loud trains passing through the town every half hour to an hour at night, on top of road noise. However, AT&T service was good, and the park offers Wi-Fi. Overall, a nice choice for those seeking a convenient, no-frills camping experience in College Station.

From The Campground

Holiday RV Park is the closest private RV park to Texas A&M University, located just 1 1/2 miles south of campus. The park features large level concrete sites with patios, many with multiple slideout accommodation, full hookups including water, sewer, electricity, and cable TV, and free, speedy Wi-Fi. Pull-thru sites are available and big rigs are welcome. The park is just minutes from Texas A&M, George Bush Library, and TEEX Fire Training School. The swimming pool is currently closed until Covid guidance and regulations are withdrawn or legislatively resolved.
