Lone Wolf Creek is a great campground for an overnight stay. It is located off I-20 mile-marker 217 and is far enough away from the highway to mute traffic noise. The campsite is a big gravel parking lot with some trees around the perimeter, and the sites are grassy, level, and have all the necessary hookups. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and allow you to pick your site. There is also a convenient Sunoco nearby for gas and diesel big rigs. The price is $40 per night, but there is a discount of $36 for Good Sam members. The pool area is clean and large, and there is a club nearby on Saturday nights. The only downside is that the sites are often littered with cigarette butts.
