Colorado River RV Resort in Columbus, TX is a large and well-maintained campground with a variety of spacious sites to accommodate just about any style of camping. There are choices of types of spaces to stay, with new pull-thru full hookup sites available with paved access. The area is quiet, and the bath house is brand new and very nice. The resort is easily accessible for bigger rigs and it is conveniently located just a few minutes from basic needs. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The park offers well-kept hiking trails and amenities, and there is a nice shady area with great views. While the park is not heavily shaded, the gravel sites are large enough to stay connected for a one-night stay. Some sites are tree-shaded while others are in open areas. The customer service is very courteous and friendly.
