Copperas Creek is a campground located in Comanche, TX. The FHU worked well and the gatehouse staff were friendly and helpful. Most sites have great views and are spread out with lots of trees and vegetation around. Each site comes with a pavilion, picnic table, and a fire circle or grill. Its a great place to camp and relax, with miles of shoreline that offer designated swimming areas and beaches. Many boaters leave their vessels close to their campsites and campers often sit comfortably in the shade and enjoy the breeze. The asphalt roads are slightly deteriorated in some places, but its still possible to ride bikes around them. The restrooms are clean and the WiFi is decent.
