Cooper Lake State Park is a great campground located in Texas. It offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with plenty of space between most of the campsites. The park is full of tall trees, gentle rolling hills, and plenty of wildlife. The campsites are spacious and level, with concrete pads and mostly sand around each site. The amenities include a sand volleyball court, hiking trails, fishing pier, boat ramp, and kayak and SUP rentals. The only drawback is 30 amp service and no sewer, but it is still a great place to camp for a week. The park is also very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The park is also great for families, with a swimming beach, playground, and fishing pier. The trees and brush on the entry roads and sites need to be trimmed, but otherwise it is a great place to camp.
