The lake is beautiful and clear, with plenty of private camping spots and easy access to the dock. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained. The campground is surrounded by big oak trees and has plenty of trails and fishing spots. There is also a day use area with a huge steel wall to block the wind and waves. The park is well kept and quiet, and the campground hosts and knowledgeable rangers are friendly and helpful. This is a great place to get away for the weekend with the family, and is perfect for fishing, hiking, and enjoying nature.

The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is a popular destination during the spring, summer, and fall. Entrance fees are $5 for adults and free for children 12 years and under. Reservations are highly recommended for both camping and day use to guarantee entry.
