Liberty Hill Park Campground on Navarro Mills Lake near Dawson, TX is a nice Corps of Engineers park for all visitors, especially those who love fishing. The grounds are clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Most visitors are here for the fishing but others come just to enjoy the view. The asphalt sites are spacious but are lined up with cement curbs that could be challenging for some. However, all the sites are worth it, especially the top of the hill where campers have wide open views of the lake. There is also a play area and beach nearby for those with kids. You can also enjoy a campfire overlooking the lake with your loved ones. Service with some phone providers can be temperamental, but Starlink works great. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, but some could use a little work.
