Awkward Turtle RV Park Austin is a unique boondocking-only campground located in downtown Austin, TX. It is situated on the grounds of the old, iconic Shady Grove RV park and is within walking distance to many popular attractions, including Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, Zilker Park, Auditorium Shores, Austin City Limits, the Texas Capital, and numerous restaurants. The campground offers dump service, trash disposal, and witty conversations. While amenities are currently being installed, guests are encouraged to suggest their favorite campground amenities, especially the weird ones.
