What others are saying about this campground
San Pedro Campground at Amistad National Recreation Area is a budget-friendly RV park with dirt/gravel spaces that are a little tight. The park is run by a friendly woman who is happy to provide information on the surrounding area. There are many shade trees, full hook-ups, a laundry, cable, working wifi, and easy access to water, sewer, and electricity. The bar in the park is a great place to meet interesting people, but on Saturday nights, the music can be quite loud. Unfortunately, the park is also home to large roaches that may try to get into your RV. The 50amp power may not work properly and the only shower stall is behind a bar. All in all, this campground is a decent place to stay for a couple of nights while exploring the area, but it is not suitable for luxury or even moderate RVers.
